PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Executive Enrollment Manager works under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing and provides a valuable service to our prospective students by engaging in every aspect of student recruitment and enrollment. The Executive Enrollment Manager’s responsibilities include execution of the admission process, student recruitment, record keeping and document organization. This is a full-time position. Occasional weekend and evening work are required.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities: All responsibilities are presumed to reflect the effective implementation of best practices. Technology will be leveraged as an enabler whenever practical. Internal controls will be installed to ensure that all activities comply with acknowledged standards of fiduciary due care, non-conflicts of interest and confidentiality.
- Meet enrollment goals for graduate programs at Claremont Lincoln University.
- Travel on behalf of the College for recruitment and other college related events if/when needed;
- Prepare admission materials for campus display and distribution to prospective students as needed;
- Work closely with the Dean of Student Services/Registrar and Director of Student Financial Services to 2 assist in the smooth transition of prospective students through matriculation;
- Conduct electronic and telephonic 1:1 consultations informing prospective students about CLU program offerings;
- Respond to daily inquiries from prospective students via online inquiry form, email, phone, etc.;
- Counsel prospective students and applicants on admission policies and procedures, application status, as well as offer solutions to applicant problems and requests regarding admission;
- Maintain up-to-date records on prospective students;
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of the department’s communication plan to prospective and admitted students;
- Process applications including computing GPAs, verifying degree, tracking incoming student requirements, and correspondence with applicant;
- Provide assistance at Orientation to aid in a successful transition to the online education environment, inform students of available resources, and participation in other CLU/community events as necessary;
- Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting, and operational efficiency;
- Uphold record release policies and legal requirements, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable laws and regulations governing the confidentiality of student records;
- Stay current on a wide range of University policies and global educational trends affecting graduate students, admission, and special programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of progressive postsecondary admissions experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Familiarity with student recruitment or agencies that assist students in issues of educational access is required;
- Familiarity engaging with adult learners in a graduate school setting;
- Position requires knowledge of and enthusiasm for the mission of Claremont Lincoln University;
- Sensitivity to multicultural issues and a commitment to building a socially and economically diverse applicant pool;
- Thorough understanding of admission terminology, policies, and procedures;
- Effective time management and attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, and work under pressure;

- Ability and willingness to learn data querying and admission information software

- Basic knowledge of office equipment and strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required; and
- Previous experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Student Information System (SIS) required.
